How soon after Christmas should I send thank you notes for the gifts I received from my relatives? And if I received one gift from 2 relatives that do not reside in the same house, should I write them both a separate thank you note?

You should write your notes as soon as possible. That way you don't have that task "hanging over your head". You need to write a note to both people who gave you the gift.

You should send them out as soon as you get them done! I would send out separate thank-you notes to the relatives that you receive a gift from.

If the relatives were present when you opened the gifts and you said "thank you," don't send thank you notes.
If these relatives SENT the gifts to you, write the notes and mail them this evening so they can read them on the first week of the new year. It will please them to know you're so courteous.
Write the two relatives who gave you one gift two notes, since they reside in different houses.

You can send them out anytime. The sooner the better though. If they do not reside in the same house I would send a note to each of them.

You should send them as soon as possible to show them that you care and don't resist the word "thank you." You should definitely write them separate thank you notes. They are two different people living in two different addresses right?

You should send your thank you notes within two weeks.Yes you should write them seperate notes since they both gave you gifts.sometimes people give gifts togeather so they can give you a nicer gift.Thank you notes should go to each one of them,especially since they do not live togeather.
