For agility, I found my trainer through this website: http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=clubs.search
I've never done flyball, but if you contact local dog trainers in your area, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Agility training works well with some dogs, especially if the owner/dog relationship is close, and the dog is confident.
You should take Sammy for a checkup first to make sure he's up to it (some breeds have health problems that would make it too hard on them). You should have no problem finding a class in your area. Just make sure they use positive reinforcement and that you can trust them to look out for the safety of your dog.
Good luck, and have fun!

Find a dog club in your area and sign up. The people who run the club will tell you everything you need to know, and help you get ready for competition. Agility and flyball are both great sports, and you should enjoy them. Good luck, and have fun.

There are places you can go to take your dog to agility contests or just train them, it better if you train your dog yourself because it helps them trust you and get closer to you i think its a great idea and dogs love it

Look for trainers in your area that are familiar with either of these activities. Or look on the web and see if they can give you a recommendation.
