Heritable mutations are those that count selection for evolution. cancer are the effect of somatic (no longer heritable) mutations. Many households have predispositions to cancers with the aid of heritable mutations. some few cancers (e.g. retinoblastoma) are an instantaneous effect of inherited mutation. the percentages are that over the years those volatile mutations would be eradicated (it is to no longer say that new mutations won't take place interior an identical genes). it is evolution.

Technically, air could cause cancer. Certain chemicals that we breathe in could easily cause cell disfunction. Sometimes there's no avoiding it, but you can help yourself out by not smoking and living healthy and eating whole foods (things that aren't processed and covered with strange chemicals).

Mutagens cause cancer and they are EVERYWHERE. just depends on the exposure.

FYI: did you know that coffee causes mutations? and cinnamon combats such mutations? crazy, just crazy.

----just remember too much of anything is not a good thing. moderation is key. (sun, smoking, x-rays lol)

I think belching and farting doesn't cause cancer, but everything else under the sun is a carcinogen.

Good question. Who knows? We can avoid the obvious ones (smoking is coming to mind) but other than that, life is like russian roulette, huh?
