I'd like to get a job and have gone to a place to be hired, but, they didn't have much interest in me. I've found that people aren't eager to call for my help or employment.

Part of me feels like he's being wasted -- an able bodied person.

I'm a 29 year old son of a reputable radiologist who's really been there for me unconditionally. Because of his status in the community, I have a lot of freedoms and privilidges to do what I want. Yet, somehow, I'm STILL unfulfilled in life. I do a lot of exercise -- running, biking, swimming, weights, skating -- damn near everything, but, at times I feel isolated from the rest of the world. I'd really like to fall in love with somebody, but, can't find anybody out there who has free time to stuff.

You can turn your love of exercise into employment. Apply at sporting goods stores, or gyms. Becoming a personal trainer is something that will fulfill your need to be useful and reward you for making a difference in someone else's life. You can also donate your time to a gym for underprivileged teens and be a role model by helping them with their weight training or other sports. You could also educate yourself by attending massage therapy school and become a massage therapist that will also give you direct satisfaction in helping others in a physical way. Same thing for a physical therapist.

You have to bring something to the table to be of interest to an employer. You might want to talk to a therapist about being tested for Aspbergers Syndrome, you sound like you might have some of the symptoms which can get in your way when finding your path in life. Good luck.

You should try these two websites: myspace.com and also on of my favorite website is craigslist.org and there they have a personals section. You can post your profile on there.

As far as a job goes you should re-do your resume and make it sound more interesting keep in mind that you are competing with others so you need to sell your self in a professional way. People like people who are fun and outgoing but will get the job done as well.

getting a job is a job if your not really working at it especially at age 29 then it going to show in your approach to jobs and generally employers want someone who's really wants the job, and it shows in how they deal with the potential employer. you have to pursue the jobs you want, show that you want them, and you call back about the jobs , check on them shows your interested. don't harass then, just show that your interested. employers aren't looking for employees that want the employer to be interested in them. they want the employee to be interested in the employer, then their more likely to be interested in you.this will make your life more fulfilled and will make you a more attractive catch to the opposite sex. women like some one with motivation and desire to be a success regardless of what it is , you need to grow up. it sounds like your dad has sheltered you to much from the real life dealings of most working people.

You have a void that is there....becuase you are not filling it with the correct solution. You can have all the money in the world and loose your own soul.

If you were to die right now do you know if you would go to Heaven. If you answer I don't know, or yes I am a good person....you are in trouble.....

Don't try to do this all on your own. You don't have to. When you are afraid there is someone close by who understands, when you feel sad there is someone close by who understands, when you feel like not coming out of your room there is someone close by who understands........
It is the Lord.

The Lord tells us to take our troubles and lay them at his feet. When Christ is in our hearts and we are living a life for him, he will help us in our struggles. We will still have trials and tribulations, but the Lord will be there to pick you up and give you the peace that passes all understanding. It is a peace that no drugs, doctor, or anything else could give you. To have a personal relationship with the Lord....(Who loves and cares for you) here is what you need to do....

1. You must realize you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23) "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

(Romans 3:10) "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one."

2. Second you must accept that as a sinner you owe a penalty. (Romans 6:23) "For the wages of sin is death...."

This is an eternal death in Hell. See everyone lives forever somewhere...either Heaven or Hell. Those who reject Christ and never ask for repentance of their sins go to Hell. Those who ask Christ to come into their lives, thank him for dying on the cross for their sins, and turn from their sin...will go to Heaven. You just pray to the Lord a simple prayer like this:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I deserve to pay my own sin debt, but I do believe that you died for me to pay the debt that I owe. Today, the best that I know how, I trust you as my savior. I will depend on you from this moment on for my salvation. Now help me to live for you and to be a good Christian. Amen

If you really believe that Christ died for you, and you are ready to repent of your sins and to turn to Christ...pray...and ask him to come into your life. When no one is there he will be.

God Bless You
