I like this one, but you can use your wn words. God KNOWS your heart and mind!

"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Now talk to God freely, read his love letter, the Bible, and seek one-on-one teaching from a respected Christian mentor. When you are ready, His "great commission" is to go and tell the good news to others.

There is no right way to begin a prayer, as long as it's social time between you and God it doesn't matter. I'm glad you want to know more of Him. I like to pray when I'm most relaxed, or as soon as something comes to mind. Just speak what you want to say. Don't think it has to be some 'fancy', "Of heavenly Father" prayer. I like to say "Sup, Lord?" Kinda stupid, but it's how I start.

If you're Catholic, go to confession as soon as possible!

If not, then say an "Act of Contrition". In which you are TRULY sorry for having offended the LORD. God bless.

O my God,
I am heartily sorry for
having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
because I dread the loss of heaven,
and the pains of hell;
but most of all because
they offend Thee, my God,
Who are all good and
deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace,
to confess my sins,
to do penance,
and to amend my life.
Amen.

'O My God, I am heartily sorry for having Offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy Just Punishments: the Loss of Heaven and the Pains of Hell. But most of all, because they Offend Thee, My God Who Are All Good, and Deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the Help Of Thy Grace to sin no more and to avoid the most near occasion of sin. Amen.

Dear Jesus I accept you as my Lord and Savior and ask you to come into my heart. I ask your forgiveness for my sins and promise to change and follow your ways. Amen

Just talk to Him as if you were talking to a friend. Also, try to sit and listen to what He wants to tell you. Believe me, He'll listen. I'm glad that you want to try and know Jesus. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask :)

I would go to the Psalms (the middle of the Bible) let your heart be open to God reaching you.

That's what it's all about.

Jesus proved His love on a cross.
Now He wants to prove that He lives and gives new life.

1. Be honest.
2. Admit your wrongs
3. Ask for forgiveness
4. Repent from your wrongs to do right for God.

Search God when He may be found. (Isaiah 55:6) I think

It's easy as the ABC's...literally:

(A)dmit-Admit you are a sinner.
(B)elieve-Believe in God with all your heart and believe your sins will be saved by Jesus Christ.
(C)onfess-Confess your sins and ask for forgiveness.

Speak from your heart, mean what you say and say it from your heart! Good luck!

The existence of jesus is doubtful (I assume you mean christ and not the mexican gardener named jesus).

There is no evidence of his existence and the fact that nobody wrote anything about him while he was alive in spite of all the miracle that he reportedly performed, indicates that he never existed
