Muslim believes in Jinn. We believe that they are made from fire. They have capability to understand good and bad and they may follow a religion also. Satan is among the Jinns. Normally they can see us, but we can't see them.
You can categorise Jinns as Islamic version of ghosts

Ok,Hello. Muslims do not believe in ghosts. The common perceptions of angels being the spirits of the departed or people becoming angels, and Satan being a fallen angel, are also not part of our religion.
Allah has created three types of sentient creations that we know of. One, Angels, are created of light. They are perfectly obedient to Allah and serve him. They have no free will.
Two, the jinn. These are creatures created of smokeless fire. They are not visible to humans in their natural form but they can assume visible forms. Some jinn are righteous and some are not. Satan, who was called Iblees, was a jinn of high status who used to spend his time in the company of the angels. When Allah created man, he ordered the angels to bow down to this creation. Iblees, who was in their company at that time, grew arrogant and refused, and for this reason he became the rejected Satan.
Three is humans. Allah created us out of the varied soils and sands and dusts of the earth. We have free will and can choose to believe in Allah or disbelieve, and to serve Him or reject Him.
When we die, our souls are taken out by the angels whose job that is. The souls are taken out softly or harshly depending on whether the person is good or evil. After burial, our souls do not wander around the earth, like many people believe. They are in a place apart and don't interact with the world anymore, until Allah will bring us all back to life on the Day of Judgment.
The jinn can assume the forms of people, and part of their mischief is to assume the form of a person who has died or a person who is living on the other side of the earth. It is a way of attempting to mislead people. The Satan cannot take the form of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, so if someone sees his image in a dream it is a true dream.
I hope this sheds some light on the topic for you.

Actually NO Christian should believe in ghosts because you either go to Heaven or Hell when you die.
As for Muslims. I don't think they do, but I wouldn't know enough of their religion to know that answer.

Yes, Muslims believe in ghosts. However...they believe that ghosts appear as "translucent" energy. Christian and Hindu ghosts appear as "transparent" energy.

No. They have a very strong mythology developed around djinns (genies, etc.), but believe that the dead sleep until raised and judged.

You do, of course, know that a belief is Ghosts is not common amongst Christians.
In fact, many (myself included) do not believe in them at all.
EDIT-OK, thanks for the clarification
