He is 16...doesnt want to work and doesnt want to go to school and is rude and disrespectfull to everyone in the family. What should we do?.....all he does is eat and sleep? Help? any advice would be good?

My brother is 16 and he acts the exact same way! but boot camp is not the answer, that is just the way a normal teen-age boy acts who is going through puberty, wait it out for a few years he will get over it it is just puberty! just let him be is what i have found is best.

He is an emotional vampire, feeding off your feelings, and playing with you and your family he wants you too be mad at him cause hes mad at all of you.treating him isn't going to do any good unless you actually act upon it.he doesn't have respect for any one in your house because no one has the spine to actually do what they threaten him with

Sounds like he's a perfectly normal 16yr old. This is your parents problem, not yours. Stay out of it.
