Ridiculously so, if you all have not heard, raw almonds are now illegal in the USA. It is fine to smoke and do drugs and drink but Raw almonds MIGHT make someone sick so Americans are not allowed freedom of choice anymore. At any rate, with now either heat or chemical pasteurization (no way of knowing how it is pasteurized without calling the company), what can be used as a replacement for raw almonds?

I don't know what could be used as a replacement, but I know there is a petition out there you can sign. at least you could have a small voice...

i would guess you should try different things and see what you like.
i love peanuts and pecans and hazelnuts, but i am allergic to walnuts, they are in so many recepies it is almost sad.
so just try different kinds of nuts to see what you enjoy.
