Who reproduced after Adam & Eve to further the world population?

I am a Christian but do not know the answer to this question..... If God created Adam & Eve and they had children(mind you these were thought to be the FIRST people on Earth), who did Adam & Eve's children reproduce with to further the world population? They could not have reproduced with their own children, correct? Else, they would have been committing incest.....so, i asked a devout Christian this question but, they too did not have the answer. Do you?

Well back then people married their kin. They had to. Actually after the world was populated more they were still supposed to marry within the family but more distant than the case of Adam and Eves children and after the flood. Abraham married his half sister and it isn't mentioned as a sin. Today though this would be wrong but it was in God's plan back then. so in the case of adam and eve's children brothers probably married sisters.

According to this Eve was NOT the first woman and sex was taking place BEFORE she came on the scene. God clearly says here that man and woman are to "be fruitful and multiply". It is not until later that God makes Eve from Adam's rib in Genesis 2:7 He created Adamand then Eve in Genesis 2:21.

The idea that Adam and Eve and their kids were still close to being perfect violates every aspect of genetics, gene pools, and ecology. It is the DIVERSITY of the gene pool due to genetic mixing that creates offspring that will not exhibit genetic problems.

One of the great fears of saving the California condor is that there is so little genetic diversity that it increases the chances of recessive gene related illnesses to manifest themselves.

The LACK of diversity in the hypothetical Adam and Eve and their children would create genetic problems and increase the chances of situations related to inbreeding.

If, as you say, it was their purity that would disallow genetic problems then you are supporting evolution as evolution depends on variation of genes due to positive mutation. Therefore, if you contend that we are now genetically weaker, the only way that could have occurred would have been via change in the genetic code which is evolution.

Incest was not a sin till much later. At this time in human history it was

1) not dangerous genetically because people were still so close to be being perfect

2) necessary because of the small # of people on Earth

I thought Adam and Eve only produced sons so I have no idea how they multiplied. The KJV says Eve is the mother of all things living. After Cain killed Abel it just says... and Cain knew his wife.

Their children and children's children, sometime Christians might say it wasnt incest because incest wasnt invented yet, Christians will also say that there would be no mutations because there genes were perfect (which isnt true because mutations would still occur and having the same genes is what makes incest bad)
