Gift cards to someplace nice?

A typical gift would be the jewelry you'd like them to wear with their dress on the day of the wedding. I only had 2 bridesmaids so I was able to spend a bit more than probably a normal bride would spend on b.m. gifts. I got them these gorgeous antique looking necklaces with matching earrings. I made sure to pick out a set that would not only look good w/ their dresses but that they could wear AFTER the wedding.

Another good gift? Look on the internet for monogrammed makeup bags. You can get them each one with their initials and they'll love it. I was given that as a gift when I was a maid of honor at a wedding and loved it. I still use that makeup bag in fact.

I read somewhere that you're supposed to spend about $100 or more on each bridesmaid...but I'm on a really tight budget!! I have two bridesmaids and I am giving them beautiful necklaces to wear at the wedding and I'm hoping they will love them and wear them again. They have moonstones in them...a woman's stone...and they are beautiful (they are also unique and the shape of the stone is different for each - oval and square). I chose this gift because I collect semi-precious gemstones and I have a passion for one-of-a-kind jewelry so I am giving them something that is a reflection of myself.

I did jewelry as others have said but I also did large canvas tote bag with each girls name embroidered on it. We also had a cool heart with our names and the wedding date on the opposite side but that isn't necessary. The bag was perfect for the girls to bring just the things they need to where we were getting ready, such as under things, make-up, and the biggest item, shoes. They then packed their everyday stuff back in the bags after changing. I know for a fact that everyone of them still uses their bag over 2 years later. They told me they were the perfect gift.

how about a manicure/pedicure for before the wedding?

The last wedding that I was in, we all went and had some pictures done at the beach. Then at the rehearsal dinner the bride had framed the pictures and gave them all to us as gifts..it was really nice..and its in my living room...better than a cheesy necklace that I would never wear again...

The wedding before that she got us all matching earrings to wear for the wedding....don't know where those are now....

Charm bracelets are nice. So are bridesmaid tshirts. Or you could offer to pay for their hair & makeup on the big day. Maybe a spa day for everyone.

A gift card to each one to their favorite store restaurant. I would say at least $20 each, that way you are not breaking the bank either. You already have a big wedding to pay for. Hope this helps.
