This man is claiming to be the prince of Liberia. He is trying to get us to accept packages from his country. He is trying to get us to put $77 million into our bank account. I don't feel comfortable at my home, he said he has our address and obviously has our phone number and our e-mail. He even demanded my husband's work phone number when I answered the phone unknowingly earlier. I didn't give him the number, but his e-mail said he already has our address courtesy of the 'Records of Ghana.' How the hell did this happen and what should I do? The police took the printed e-mails and they also turned everything in to the FBI. I am still scared to death. I've never given out personal information like my address, and this man somehow got it. I am afraid for the safety of my family. I am hanging up when he calls and my doors and windows are locked. I just don't feel this is enough.

Well, for the man who said he doesn't have the phone number unless I gave it, I didn't give it. He got it somehow, and that's what scares me. And for the other answers, thank you. I will have to ask the police to do a check around my neighborhood. And as far as having his palace bombed, this was not a joke question. I'm really scared, and just needed a little friendly advice and maybe some input from someone who's been in the situation, not critizism.

It's a con. Block the email. He doesn't have your phone number unless you gave it to him. If he does have your number, contact the phone company, and get privacy manager. Ignore him, he will eventually go away.

This is a "Hotbed"! Realize that some people's ancestral religion TEACHES that "only the folk" can worship. Also realize that some ancient religions teach that ancestors influence us so ancestral religions and not the religions of foreign folk will prevail. That being said. I think that the gods can, and do take those not of their folk when the people are worthy, or of use to that particular god. The gods aren't stupid enough to toss out someone that would be of value to them any more than intelligent humans would. Personally, I would FIRST check out the gods of my folk if I were searching, and then the gods that I agree with second. You have to accept those gods the same way that the gods accept you. Remember also (I noticed that you referenced "recon") that there WAS NO CENTRAL PAGAN or HEATHEN CHURCH. If, for instance, you "reconstructed" the belief system observed in Dublin in a particular era, it could well be completely different from the followers of the exact same pantheon just a few miles away, or a few years removed. I am NOT saying NOT to reseach, just don't expect everyone who says that they are "Celtic" (or any other religion) to all act the same. I am Norse Heathen, and I have seen everything from Asatruar welcoming in "Black Magicians" from the "Temple of Set",: to people teaching some sort of "norse Yoga" immitating the shape of the Runes; to people claiming warriorhood because they go practice karate or some such nonsense a couple of times a week; to people using "blank runes". I don't see ANY of these people as practising "Norse Heathenism"

Call his bluff, ask him what your address is (via email). If they evade the question or try to instil more fear into you they're full of BS. Usually these scammers have no interest or even have the ability to stalk you. They're just trying to get money from you and will come up with story to try to get it from you. If you haven't already done so, change your number. Once you have confirmed that he is full of crap (for piece of mind), ignore the rest of his emails...they will soon realise that there isn't any profit in harassing you and they'll move onto someone else.

If you could email or message me his email, I may be able to help you out.

I would call the police and see if they can offer to do a neighborhood check on your house every once in a while. I would think they would be more than happy to do anything in their power to make you feel safer. I know that if my friend who is a Police Officer was in the area where you lived he would want to make sure you felt safer. Good luck!

If you can call your police or local Red Cross and see if there is a safe haven somewhere where you can say for now, then keep calling the police or FBI and ask them what you can do to further the investigation, and that you still feel unsafe, and what services can they provide you?

If all else fails call an air-strike on his palace in Liberia. Seriously, though, I'm sure the police are doing everthing they can. You can ask them to watch the house tho
