Is it normal for a guy to say he wants to hang out on a Friday night and not arrive unti after 10pm? or is this a sign of not so honorable intentions? (He was supposed to be here at 10 it is now 10:10 and he has not even called for directions to my place)

We don't even know what we're doing yet. I asked and he said "I dunno" ...I am about to say screw it and chill with my friends.

If it's a guy really worth dating, he'll want to take you out on a nice classical date like dinner and/or a movie. He'll want to make a nice evening out of it, so he'll pick you up around 6 or 7pm so he can have you home at a decent hour. He'll want to spend time to get to know you, so he'll ideally take you to a place where you can carry a nice conversation (such as the dinner part of the date). Otherwise, if he's not coming to see you until after 10pm, then like you said, he may not have the best intentions. So be careful. My advice would be for you to tell him that if he wants to date you, he'll be a gentleman about it and do it at a more comfortable time. So hang with your friends tonight and maybe give him another shot another day. Good luck doll~

It depends on a lot of things, what you're planning on doing, when the two of you work (if he works until 8, he might want to wait till 10 to give himself time to get ready).
6-8 is probably more typical than 10 if you're planning on dinner. But at 10 there's still time for a movie, drinks or a party.
10 minutes late isn't anything to worry about, unless he starts doing it all the time. But overall he sounds pretty disorganized at best. Might not be a good sign.

Then go chill with your friends!!! He's late, he hasn't asked for any directions yet... he's not serious at all. Don't waste your time honey.

he probaly doesnt wanna go happened to me lyk 10 xx in my life =[ cuz i said to this guy i liked, his friend but i was like can both of you come to my schools winter festivial and they were like yea sure and they never came, i talked to him later and he was like idk if i can go with football and stuff so i wud chill w/ my friends
