Usually the court will decides, seeing as you are only 14. That's too young of an age to choose. Ask your grandmother to root for you, and tell her that you want to live with her instead. She has more power than you do.
And jeez, if it's your mom jsut being uptight and you think it's demanding, it's actually pretty normal for your age to experience that. I have a really bad view on this seeing as you might actually take advantage of your grandmother. Not that I am in any position to say that, but still. It's normal to get irritated by your parents at this age - but going to your grandmother for freedom just because she's too dull to know what's right... I'm just asking you to rethink twice this whole thing, and do what you think will be best for you in the long run.

How about you be thankful you're not working in a coal mine or a sweatshop?

You could get emancipated, but you'd need a lot more reason than the grounds that your mom is a "real uptight biatch ):"

It's sad. On the other hand your only 14. Just because She is alittle uptight you have to give her some grace in the matter.
Teenagers at times get upset with there parents.
It could be Just stress.
