I think there are more people here.
In addition, the people here are *sometimes* slightly more intelligent than those in other sections.. hence, they may be able to type faster.
Granted, there are of course, some blunt idiots.
Just the same, I'd say it's a good thing we have faster responses :]

There's also a metter of more generalized knowledge.
Though I'm a pro photographer and have been for 21 years, I can't answer about 75% of the questions about cameras because I don't buy or use much in the way of point and shoots. If the question relies on knowing a particular camera, odds are good it'll take longer to find someone who can answer it.
Same analogy can extend to most categories.

Because there are more people here and many of the questions have already been asked so we are ready for it. But in other sections new things come up, like "what do you think of this new book published by so-and-so". This forum though is kind of stuff in never-ending cycles.

Because we sit around pathetically waiting to answer. The other sections are being browsed. This place is a ******* hell hole, and once you're sucked into it you can never leave!!!! Oh, you will for awhile, you know, when you get tired of answering the same thing over and over, or somebody says something so stupid you think you're done with this place, but nooo, it will draw you back. It is an evil force I tell you, EVIL FORCE.

Maybe we don't have a life like the answerers in the other sections.
Most of the answers are opinion and don't use a lot of research.
I have found as well that you are going to get all your answers in the first hour or so unless you get a lot of stars that bring in people from contact lists.

I dunno, I would like to know why when I post a question about computers or something in that category, I get like 2 answers, when I post a question in Singles and Dating, i get like a trillion answers.
