i think it is totally bogus that he is being sued. the so called security guard is just another one seeking a easy way to get money and what better way to do that then to sue kasey or does he want his 15 minutes of fame.

It might be more involved than what's been revealed so far. In the state where I live "you accept the plaintive as you find them". What that means is that any pre-existing medical condition that this guard may have and is now re-aggravated as a result of this fall is now the responsibility of Kasey Kahne. Could be arthritis, heart condition, Parkinson's, any host of possibilities. Perhaps this is what Kasey's legal team are trying to work out. I'm not sure what the law is in that state.
But I still have the same question that I did originally. Why would this gate that had four police officers in attendance require a security guard? It just seems a bit over-manned to me. Curious to see the outcome.

Well, Kasey did not have the proper credentials, and you must have them to get in the drivers motor coach area's. Heck even when I'm at a race with my Uncle, and alot of times he is in the drivers lot as well, and believe me these guards had better see your credentials, Kasey had a bad yr, he was major frustrated, but he should have known better than push the guy down.. Kasey just pay the guy off and lets move on, you learned your lesson, hey if this would have happened out here in Calif, that security guy would be going for atleast a million..The courts in Fla could let Kasey off and have him just pay damages to the security guard.

If we had decent press coverage surrounding Nascar we might be able to answer your question. Unfortunately the press people who follow Nascar are afraid to print anything.

I have no idea what really happened but I'm not going to bad mouth a 62 year old working man just cause I am a Nascar fan and Kasey is a driver. I am not going to criticize Kasey either. I will wait until the truth comes out.

I agree that the guard's medical bills should be paid by Kasey; and maybe a bit more for being so dumb. But if I know lawyers he's going to ask for a bunch more.

I think Kasey should just step up and pay the bills and give the guy couple of grand for the trouble he caused.

Its just another case of a Nobody suing a Famous Person for Money!!! The whole thing is bogus or the Security guard would be asking for more than 15,000!!!! He would be asking for 5 Million and settle for 100,000!!!!!!

Of course it's right. What's to question? A few other officers saw him push a man down in turn injuring him. The guy isn't asking for a million bucks or to be a star. He just wants his medical bills paid for . What's so hard to understand?? I mean if you were in his shoes making about $10.25 an hour and some short little guy who thinks he is better then everyone else comes along and hurts you accidentally or intentionally causing you injury? Wouldn't you at least want the medical bills paid for? I mean Tony Stewart and Jimmy Johnson probably had their credentials. Why would Kasey be so different?

Maybe the guard doesn't have health benefits.. Have half a brain and think about. It's common sense. I would do the same.

Peace out!

Happy New Year!

Kasey should watch his anger... Not to mention the year he's had

I'm sorry, not a big Kahne fan but why would he shove a senior citizen to the ground? Just because the guard asked for a pass for entering the motorcoach area!
