I believe you have to be 5 to run in the Jr. Dragsters. Other than that, I'm not sure. You can check the NHRA or IHRA rules on their sites.

Not sure about Jr. Dragsters but you CAN race a full size car @ age 16 with a valid drivers license. You do however need written consent from a legal guardian.
Once your 18 your considered an adult and can race whenever you want. I've been bracket racing since I was 18. I'm 39 now.
My home track, Gateway International Raceway, has a 'High School' racing class on Saturday nights and alot of 16, 17 and 18 yr. old guys AND girls race regularly. I think it's a neat deal. It's bracket racing so some have fast cars and some race there Grand-Am's or whatever so the cars are pretty diverse.

Hmm, last I knew you could start at a really young age, if you do 1/4 mile, there are kid's in there - ages 8,14 - Mini Dragsters, if you want the Dirt track type racing - Mark Martin's (#6) son has been running dirt and go-carts since age 4!!!! Drag racing is fun - but you better have the FUNDS to back your butt up!! It is NOT CHEAP by any means - good luck to you and Happy New Year!!

It depends on the Class and the Track & if They have insurance on the drivers or not. Ask the track that you intend to drag race at for rules and regulations!!!!! Have Fun!!!!

Not sure-maybe 8 or 10 for junior dragsters. I think 16 and state licensed for street cars. I think each track would have rules.
