don't listen to the person above me. the chances of tha happening are one in a million. if you go to a professional piercer the risks are almost nonexistent. get it and take care of it. i love mine. I paid 50 for mine.

I think I spent about $40, but that was 5 years ago. Depending on where you live you should be able to get it done for $25-$40 I would think. I know when I lived in Dallas there was a tattoo studio that pierced anything above the bellybutton for $25 on Wednesdays.

I paid $80 for mine. Getting your tongue pierced can be tricky (the piercer had to do mine crooked to go around the vein on my tongue) so I think it's better to have it done in a place that's clean and has a good reputation. Spending a bit of extra money is worth it, as compared to a cheaper place.

Big mistake, hope you reconsider for several reasons; infection, inability to deal with the feeling and employers who won't like it.

Don't follow the crowd, they usually don't go to good places.

Please don't do that, it's just too risky. If they don't do it exactly right you can end up with permanent nerve damage in your facial muscles because there are a lot of nerves in your tongue. Not worth it.
