If you had this painting where would you hang it?

http://pics.livejournal.com/unmired/pic/0007kac5/g41

1. In your livingroom with pride for all your company to see?
2. Or on the wall behind your bar because it looks like that type of painting?
3. Or in the bedroom because the painting’s theme seems to fit perfectly there?
4. Or would you hang it in effigy in protest of mindless drivel like this?
4. Or in your Uncle Fred’s outhouse because that’s where crapola like this really belongs?
5. Or on the telephone pole down by the curb so that the trash people will pick it up on trash day?
6. Or some other place?

(As always, you can click away to enlarge it to see better details.)

By the way, this is the 300th. painting on canvas that I've done. Do you think it should get it's own birthday party? After all, every work of art we complete is like us giving birth to a separate entity with a life of it’s own.

KitKat, here is a link to some of my other paintings in my Live Journal Blog:

And thank you. And to the reply that they look like billiard balls I haven't looked at them that way but they could, indeed, pass for billiard balls. The painting is a cityscape lit by orbs of light. Why not lit billiard balls?

Yahoo doesn't let us pick more than one 'best' answer and this makes it very tough when there is more than one best subjective reply to a question that can only be answered as such!

I want to personally thank all of you who offered a kind word or two and even encouragement. These always mean a lot to serious artists.

I love it!!! It makes me happy. You are something else, Doc Watson. I'd take it to Kinko's and have them make a run of wallpaper for me.. and I'd plaster it all over the house! Love the way you think.... I keep looking for hidden meanings. It has such energy and... my ulterior motive would be that it would keep an "eye" on my teenage son.. and whatever he's doing:) Bravo on the 300th... keep the goodness flowing.. and Happy New Year!

I would carry this piece around and show off like a real prick. "Hey Jeff. Check out my painting. It's abstract, *****." If this is a thin piece, then I'll hang it on my door. Better yet, I would paint my door in this fashion. To answer your 2 questions, I would hang it in my room, on the door and this piece should have its own party. Everyone should wear black and white. Anyone with color should be thrown into the street. And what about the other 299 paintings? Did they had parties as well?

I have got a watercolour of three cats painted by a friend of mine She is very talented :0) OOps I forgot the why part - she painted this to say thankyou to me (she knows I love cats) - so it was a lovely surprise and above my bed seemed the right space for it

Most people don't know much about art, and they don't seem to be very smart either. You could paint anything and sell it just by pretending it's fabulous.
Personally, if I had 50 rooms in my house, I might decorate it around that painting....so I choose #3.
Do you like it?
P.S. Of course it should have a birthday.

I love it. I have just the spot for it, on the skinny wall at the end of my piano - for all to see. Great work, I would love to see more. Happy Birthday, #300!

OK, I'm back. I'll take several more from your gallery too - I see a little color in Einstein's Therapist, which I like, but they are all awesome.

I'd hang in the Billard room
as the work reminds me of "Pool"

Honestly, to me, this seems like it would fit in a modern black and white tiled bathroom, not an "outhouse," but a stylish, expensive-looking bathroom.

I'd hang it at the landing going upstairs. it's funky...and it would sure look better that that Van Gogh knockoff that's there now.
