I can't imagine find any enjoyment in having the answers to all things, or in having to care for so much in creation.

You, nor I can imagine such a thing. We are not God. We are human. God, on the other hand is not like us. He is not a man that He should lie or change His mind. You would have to be god to understand fully the mind and nature of God.

Love exists in the present and the present is the preferred manner of God regarding His children. The future is knowable but not dwelt upon without purpose. Those who make plans can still enjoy the reality of the present and enjoy it more so than a good expectation just as when your child says "I love you" that over rides any knowledge of the future. All purpose is for the benefit of now or some now which will be.

Love is now.

The "end" has to do with time.We live in time and space so we know no difference.God lives outside that realm.
