Generally, it's the people who share songs that get sued. Make sure sharing is turned-off.

People are rarely arrested. But the RIAA files lawsuits against people for a lot of money.

Do it at your own risk!

Well, I'm not sure of the chances but i think it would have to depend on your state police i guess. But take in mind that if you do get caught you can be fined a lot I'm talking thousands. But i think in most states you can go to jail or a lawsuit from the owner of the software. So don't download too much and if i were you i'd find a safer way to download. Limewire often has viruses. My uncles computer got a virus off lime wire so use something like Azureus.

The chances get better every day. It's not illegal to use the program; it's illegal to download copyrighted material.

What this guy is telling us is he doesn't want honest people who pay for music to respond to this. So I guess the honest people just need to "get a life". Why don't this kid get a job and pay for items? We need to get a life? You need to get a clue.

the only way you would get prosecuted it if you try to publish the music you downloaded. there is nothing illegal if they are for your own use. I have over 8,000 songs in my personal collection and the police have not busted me so what's the problem just don't try to publish any of them and you will be fine

Stealing is wrong no matter whether if you get caught or not. Don't be a thief.

I have a life. Only sniveling little criminals like you have no life.

Yes, they can and will track you.
