I wasnt gonna answer this but Jeff L is very wrong. Hitler didnt found the Nazi party and it was founded 1919. Hitler was seen as a messianic figure by an early Nazi leader, Dietrich Eckart, who convinced Hitler that he was the one who would save Germany. This led to the Beer Hall Pusch a failed coup in 1923. Hitler and other nazis spent time in prison and Hitler wrote Mein Kampf in prison. After being released the world depression continue to hit Germany the hardest which led to the Nazis rise in popularity eventually leading to Hitler becoming chancellor under Hindenburg in 1933. In 1934 he procalimed himself fuhrer after exagerating the communist threat and the death of Hindenburg. Hitler hated communists more than anyone else. He then eliminated his original supporters the SA and replaced them with the SS. He had the SA leaders killed and this put Heinrich Himmler who was the leader of the SS in a more powerful position. Himmler was a madman. Under Hitler's and Himmler's supervision the SS went on to carry out the atrocities that the Nazis are famous for. Reinhard Heydrich was the architect of the Final Solution to the Jewish Question by making the plans of how to dispose of Europe's Jews. Nazi leaders liked Heydrich's plan and put into action in 1943. Hitler wasnt Jewish. He wasn't gay either. Dont listen to revisionists who try to say Hitler was Jewish or gay. He may have had some jewish blood but almost all Europeans do so it isn't a real issue.

Adolf Hitler founded the National Socialist (NAZI) Party in Germany in the middle 1930s. He was elected the German President and shortly thereafter declared himself to be the Fuehrer, or supreme ruler, thus not having to run for re-election. He was NOT a native German, but an Austrian immigrant. Most of his constituents were unaware of this until after the war was done. His book, Mein Kampf, was not a big seller. It still is not. He hated jews and his philosophy was to exterminate the entirity of Judaism, and he had little use for Christan priests either. He was definitely not a Jew. He was a sick, demented and ruthless dictator that was not a purebreed as he wished his country to be.
I would suggest trying to read an Encyclopedia on him rather than basing your report on hearsay from an answer column online.

Hitler was a Nazi, he founded the Nazi party in Germany. He was decidedly anti-sematic. He inspired the German peoples in the face of the horrible conditions following WWI, blaming the Jews and launching genocide on a massive scale.

You have got to be kidding. If this is not a joke, read your textbooks and do your own homework.
Myles D is a liar:
Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn, Austria, the fourth child of six. His father, Alois Hitler, (1837–1903), was a customs official.
Alois Hitler was born illegitimate. For the first 39 years of his life he bore his mother's surname, Schicklgruber.
There were rumours that Hitler was one-quarter Jewish and that his grandmother, Maria Schicklgruber, became pregnant while working as a servant in a Jewish household. The implications of these rumours were politically explosive for the proponent of a racist ideology. Opponents tried to prove that Hitler had Jewish or Czech ancestors. Although these rumours were never confirmed, for Hitler they were reason enough to conceal his origins.
I did my research. That is a quote from Wikipedia...perhaps you would like to provide some evidence?
Didn't think so...

Hitler was perhaps the most influential person of the 20th centuary.
He was the son of an Austrian, not German, customs offical.Who grew up in a lower middle class environment in Austria, not Germany. At that time Austria was part of the Austro-Hungrian Empire. There are stories that he was one quater, one eighth, one sixteenth, Jewish be these stories are largely discounted by reputable historians.
He served with distinction in World War I (1914 to 1918). Discharged after the war he joined thousands of disillustioned Vetrans in post-war Berlin, trying to make sense of Germany's defeat and the economic and political changes sweeping the world. Contrary to popular belief he did not start the Nazi (National Socialist Worker's) Party himself, but he was a early recruit... Along with an extreamly popular war hero named Herman von Georing. Dismissed by the average American as a fat clown in a comic opera uniform Hauptmann (Captian) von Georing was a close friend of Eric, Baron von Richtoffen--- Yes the famous Red Baron. Von Georing was the last commander of von Richtoffen's squadron and also a close friend of Lothar, Eric's kid brother. In fact von Goring delivered the eulogy at Lothar's funeral. Von Georing had also recieved Germany's highest military award from the Emperor of Germany himself!! Von Georing could have easily avoided military service , as his family was among the richest in Germany and he had lots of friends in high places... it was like if he was a mixture of Tom Hanks, Paris Hilton, and Joe Foss( as your grandparents who he was). The reason von Georing was so important was that his wealth and war-hero status gave the Nazi party and Hitler an aura of respectability as well as access to high level(rich) supporters.
Contrary to popular belief, Hitler did not sieze power by force. The Nazi Party attempted that in 1923 and failed. The Nazi Party won the majority of seats in the
German Parliment in a legal election in 1932. As head of the Party, Herr Hitler he was a civilian, the highest military rank he held was Copral, was duly appointed Chancellor ( Prime Minister) by the President of the German Republic Field Marshal Paul, Gaf von Hindenburg. And the rest, as it says on the liner notes, is history...

Yes Hitler was a Nazi.
He might have had Jewish forebears on his fathers side of family.
But that does not make him a Jew.
In Judaism...if Mom is Jewish...the kid is Jewish...
Pretty smart on their part cause there is no doubt who the mother of a child is....
(no such thing as half Jewish...
unless of course you are a Nazi...and they considered Judaism a race.)
go to search bar....enter Hitler...
tons of stuff....
can't do your homework for you.
It's Friday....you got all weekend to work on it....
add: and did you know Hitler had relatives?
William Patrick Hitler (later Stuart-Houston) (born March 12, 1911 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom – died July 1987 in Patchogue, New York, U.S.), nicknamed Willy, was the nephew of Adolf Hitler. Born to Adolf's half-brother Alois Hitler, Jr., and his first wife Bridget Dowling, William later moved to Germany and subsequently escaped, eventually going to the United States where he fought against his uncle in World War II.

LOL, he had Jewish blood actually, I believe it was on his mothers side of the family, but he actually burned down the repository that had those records. He was also a Nazi, of course, in fact he was THE nazi of all nazi's. Your question reveals you have little understanding of the situation, so you really need to do some research, it's more than anyone can type to you here. You have the internet at your fingertips, so get goin. Nazism is a political system/idealogy, Jewish refers to a religious belief and/or culture.
