No,
The warheads in our Submarines SLBM (Trident D5 Missiles)are fussion bombs.

The only weapon known to physics more powerfull than a fussion bomb, is a Matter-Antimatter Weapon. This is only known in theory since, the amount of Antimatter on Earth at any one time is counted by total atoms. But if that where to be made, it would make the largest Device ever detonated look like a firecracker.

ADDED: As a matter of yield, the one whose husband is also a bubblehead is right. Fussion bombs are the most powerfull we have, but what the yield is is classified. The largest ever Detonated was the Tsar by the Soviets at 50MT, the largest made was by the Soviets at 100MT. Whether the US deploys weapons of those yield or bigger or smaller cannot be answered.

The current yield of Trident IIs carrying W88 warhead are in the strategic yield range (ie, 500 kilotons). The yield combined with the MIRV capability has global impact ramifications...from a single sub.

Hydrogen bombs can have the same yield as a nuclear bomb usually, they are just 'capable' of going far higher than a nuke is capable
