We have a recruiter there. I'll see if I can't find his or her phone number. I've worked with two individuals over the years who were British. Have you considered the USAF? Nothing wrong with the Army....I'm just biased towards the AF.

Edit: Piers
Army email: GoArmy@usarec.army.mil
no phone number provided

Air Force: roab314@rs.af.mil
011-49-6351536-7575 (I know part of that is country code/international code but I'm not sure what part is which....I do know the recruiter is located at RAF Mildenhall near Bury St Edmunds...maybe that will help.

Good Luck!

Since you're in Britian still, you need to either see a Career Counselor (recruiter) on any US military facility in britian or go to any US Embassy. As far as I remember, we have only Air Force and maybe a Naval Base still there. No Army I'm aware of, in this case you'll need to go to an Embassy.

BTW, I tried to enlist in the british army a few years back and they told politely told me to take a walk. Unless our enlisting regs have changed the US military is the only Forgien Legion left in the world. As an alien though you will not be able to get a higher than Confidential Security Clearence.

Talk to an Army recruiter; there are a great many foreign nationals in the Army. Presuming you are here legally, you should have no problems.

You can join. We had several non-citizens in my training company. But you have to contact a recruiter. They are the only ones that can help you with the paperwork.

One has to be a citizen of the U.S. or a permanent resident alien to enlist. However, you might want to make contact with one of our military attaches at the U.S. Embassy for the Court of Saint James in London. We gave honorary citizenship to Winston Spencer Churchill and even named a war ship after him. So, there might be some Anglo-American exemption I'm not familiar with.

hmmm... you would have to be a resident of the U.S... or else you would be kinda like a mercenary if we flew you out here to train with our army... but you get a plane ticket over here I'm sure they could help you out.. but I could be way wrong so go to goarmy.com and try and contact one of our bases in the England, or Europe and see if they can help you.

Seeing how Britain used to be part of the commonwealth I don't think the president has a problem with colonials joining our army.

Well first thing is, you have to be a US Resident. If you are, go to your nearest recruiting station and talk to one of them.
PS: IT doesn't matter why your joining. Don't listen to those two douche bags
