A good diet rich in fresh fruit and veg is always a good idea, but there is no evidence it will prevent cancer. Cancer is a random disease that doesn't discriminate between healthy and unhealthy eaters.

I just read another article about Broccoli combined with Tomato is more effective than the individual veggies alone. I added a Tomato-Broccoli soup to my recipe list for anti cancer meals. I have been using the Trader Joes Tomato soup and organic steamed broccoli.
I have advanced prostate cancer that failed primary hormone meds, and not responding the way I expected to other secondary hormone meds. My PSA slowed down after trying several things I read about in combination with my meds. In addition to the soup which is my primacy meal, I went on a cholesterol reduction program, weight reduction, and a low fat diet. I drink Pomegranate-berry-redwine drink (I call it the anti cancer sangria) 3 times per week before my workouts.
Is it working? I have to have faith that it is helping me. It cant hurt. My PSA slowed down a lot. I should have been dead a year ago based on my previous doubling rate of 2 months. If you can slow down an active cancer, you can prevent it before you get it. Hope this helps.

Organic broccolli and please don't ask me why - just something I have read. Make sure that all your vegtables are organic though - yeah I know they are expensive but they can save your life.
