"God (Allah) is within man - man is within God (Allah)"
This is the mystery that we have all been sent to the world to understand! If a human can understand this question, God (Allah) will indeed call this "True Human Being" a very good child!
**"Fundamentalist Muslims 'will not' understand this answer."**
Thumbs down - "Alhamdulillah"
"Peace be always with you."

Allah is far above the things that people associate Him with. And that means His creation. We believe that Allah has unlimited Power, and that He is The Creator, and everything else is creation. And the Statement of Allah, The Most High:
"it is Allah Who has created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof ( i.e., seven) . His Command descend between them ( heavens and earth) , that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah surrounds (comprehends) all things in (His) Knowledge." the Noble Qur'an,V.65:12

Allah Is all around us. He is all seeing and the All knowing. If a Muslim was to carry out the duty of what Allah requires him/her to do, like performing prayers (remembering Allah) giving to charity, unity etc then yes the power of Allah will be among this person

There is no 'spirit' of Allah. It's the belief in him. We are servants of Allah, and following his guidelines and having 'Imaan'-[Faith] is what gets us through every day. Life is a given; It's just the way you choose to live it.
If you're pious and a good follower, you are closer to Allah.

Allah is on His Throne, High above the 7th heaven.
But he is not restricted by time or place. So we as humans are separate from God in person. God`s power is not inside us, but it works on/upon us. Allah has given us life and sustains us.... His power or spirit doesn`t need to be inside us for us to stay alive.
This is all what I can say on this subject, and its enough for me to know that Allah is on His Throne, He is closer to me than my jugular vein, and listens to all my prayers even if I make them in my heart. This may seem un-comprehendible .... but He is God, me as a humble human can not comprehend Him, there is nothing like unto Him, He is not like human, or anything we know..... So He can be on His Throne and at the same time so close to me, listening to my prayer. This is what I suffice myself with. And it fills me with awe of Him.
There might be more info on this issue, but I don`t know as the above mentioned is sufficient for me..... I know God is not a part of me and I am not a part of God. He is High above such things and we are not holy in our-selves.I hope I have answered ur question the way I understood .... if u need to know more pls ask. You might get answers from muslims saying God is everywhere etc. thats a wrong belief and a result of ignorance.... they don`t know, or believe wrongly .... that was not the teaching of prophet Muhammad (saws) about God and this is not what Allah says in the Quran about Himself.
Example :
"Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. Unto Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedes with Him except by His leave? He knows that which is in front of them (men) and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His Knowledge except what He wills. His FootStool encompasses the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous.

hi! ok, Allah is the creator of our souls. He created us; our souls. our souls belong to Allah. and no, of course we're not seperated from Allah. our spirit for Him is in us. and when alot of people convert to Islam, they always say that Islam was in their hearts; they just had to search deep and find it. if you want, you can go to this website and it tells you about Islam and Allah: islamworld.net. also, you can go to this website and listen to the recittaion of the Quran: http://www.mp3quran.net/eng/ajm_english.html
thank you and if you have any additional questions you can just add me as a fan.
