No, but it is an indication of a number of other things. These include but are not limited to: epilepsy, reactions to medications or foods, neurological disorders, anger, in rare cases demon possession, spasms, etc.

God's spirit caused people to be cured of such things in the first century as well as to be miraculously able to translated talks and the Bible into the language of any foreign language speaking persons they met.

God's spirit does not cause you to act like a mad man.

I think that the work of God's Spirit is to sanctify people and to make them more like Jesus. Do you read anywhere in the Bible about Jesus or the Apostles doing those types of things?

Do those types of behavior exemplify the "fruits of the Spirit" as given in the Bible?

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

If not, then I would hazard to guess that they were either the works of the flesh or of some "other" spirit.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

No.

If you look at the incident where Jesus cured a demon possessed boy, it was the boy who screamed and rolled all about, jerking and all.

Jesus just spoke in a calm, firm voice.

The indications of the holy spirit are "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control"

I really can't judge what another person is feeling, as to whether their actions are indications of God's spirit at work or not. Whether they are standing still quietly or doing what you described I don't think anyone can correctly conclude anything about God's spirit through that.

In the Old Testament, there are certain ways that you show thanks and Praise to God for what He has done for you. One of those ways is by waving your hands.

I have seen people praising God who seem to get pretty rowdy, but this is a person in his element conversing with God in his own, personal way.

You must understand, it is not something that most people do because they are trying to get attention. In fact, it is the opposite. As a younger Christian, I was terribly embarrassed in the act of offering praise to God; I was afraid that everyone would look at me or that they would think I was strange.

As I got older, I could not help but raise my hands to God as I remember all the things that He has done for me. My raising my hands is my honest thanks to God, and it is between He and me and no one else. And I dont notice when other people are doing stuff, and they most likely dont notice when I am doing stuff because it is private - even in a crowded room.
