Personally I do not believe in possesion of demon because ghosts do not exists. There are just mentally ill people who shows demonic characteristics.

I think that RC does that to generate more revenue.

The Vatican has denied expanding the number of exorcists: http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/166065.html

However Catholics have been casting out demons ever since Jesus and the Apostles did it.

Modern psychology says that most of the people who had demons cast out of them were probably miraculously cured from schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. But their cures were still miracles.

The Catholic Church believes that real demonic possessions are rare but possible, so they keep a few exorcists around just in case.

The Church has guidelines in place to take great care to exhaust psychological options before calling in an exorcist.

For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 1673: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt2sect2chpt4.htm#1673

Anglicanism, several Protestant denominations, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons), Judaism, Hinduism, Scientology, and Islam also practice some kind of exorcism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exorcism

I hope he does.

We need more exorcists.

You are right...ghosts do not exist...but demons do. They often pose as ghosts. They spend a lot of time tempting, tormenting and leading us astray.

Father Amorth, the Vatican exorcist, says that demons are real. Full possession is rare, but there are people who have demons with them. Often he works with psychiatrists. He has had people come to him that have mental problems, and he sends them to a psychiatrist for help. He has had psychiatrists send patients to him for exorcism.

There is a thinking that it's all in a persons head. That if they are told they are possessed, they believe it and then an exorcism works. But this is not true. Father Amorth has had people come to him who do not believe at all and yet can be exorcised.

He wrote a book, it's really a good basic approach to exorcism. It's not sensational, more nuts and bolts kind of information. He tells what he sees, and what he has experienced. It's really worth getting. It's called "An Exorcist Tells His Story." http://www.amazon.com/Exorcist-Tells-His-Story/dp/0898707102

It has nothing to do with getting revenue. You don't have to pay for an exorcism.

You look to think of that that's relaxing to stay interior the direction of a crumbling museum. The challenge of the Catholic Church is to proclaim and set up the dominion of God all started by means of Jesus Christ between all peoples. The Church endeavors to maintain souls. preserving the valuable paintings available on the Vatican in have faith for all mankind again, see, and encourage concept interior the dominion of God is a ingredient of this challenge. The Church ought to have the skill to advance a pair of billion funds by means of merchandising each and every thing yet that ought to quickly be long previous and the international does no longer be lots greater suitable off. fairly if mankind does no longer replace for the greater suitable. the two the previous and New testomony says that it is the challenge of all mankind (which incorporate you and me) to love our acquaintances as much as we like ourselves. that's our job to provide up poverty and create justice and peace. If each and every individual on earth gave $10 then $60 billion could be raised. If the 1000000000 human beings interior the richest international places gave one $one hundred each and each then $one hundred billion could be raised. no longer in elementary terms do those riches make the Vatican paintings collections look paltry, this is barely a fragment of what can relatively be raised if human beings have been given their priorities as we communicate. You and that i and something of humanity can do lots lots greater to "help human beings" than the Vatican can all by means of itself. we could desire to provide up making excuses for our selfishness by means of pushing the blame directly to the Catholic Church.
