We are in an area that is REAL big on black powder! A lot of re-enactors at our local state park, and several black powder clubs.

I just sold one thru my shop on consignment just 2 weeks before Christmas. If you are talking the "Original" Thompson Center 50 Caliber Hawken Rifle (Percussion) Unfired..This one went for $220..The Flintlock's are a little higher in value. It's not that they aren't a quality Black Powder Rifle, but since the advent of the modern "Inline" Black Powder rifles, they are just not as desireable as they were a few years prior..

If you can get this value for your T/C I would suggest you go for it. They are of course discontinued and no longer made (but it was after all, mass produced) Good Luck.....
