Currently I am a scientist who I suppose is a believer in hybrid religions (try to refrain from the hell jokes).

I was once Buddhist as a child and then decided to try and find the "correct" religion in the world later on only to come up short everywhere. It was then I saw that every religion had its ups and downfalls and only through taking what essentially helped you from each bucket and leaving behind the dead weights could you move more comfortably and freely through life. It is essentially Jeet Kune Do but for religion. I have also realized that in sides to pick science is best for me because science is not fixed upon a single hill, it moves wherever the evidence is and wherever it may come from (so one day, scientists might beleive in God or be able to totally disprove it).

I am a humanist. I got here by firstly realising that the god stuff I was raised to believe didn't stand up to scrutiny and, secondly, because of my concern for humankind.

As a young teenager I was violently against all religion - had fairly pantheistic ideas, and felt that religions were just there to take in money and glorify themselves. I felt there was a lot of hypocrisy. However I had a personal encounter with God, and came to believe that Jesus Christ did rise from the dead. I still feel there is a lot of hypocrisy and fraud, financial and otherwise, as well as power tripping, going on in the name of religion. I am more concerned with a person's personal relationship with God than with the religion he might profess.
I am a pastor, by the way.

Just saw the other day on discovery that more and more atheist scientists now admit that Jesus was here and was crucified on a cross. They have admitted that there is just to much historical evidence. They are slowly but surely gettting there. As a Born Again Christian I can tell you Jesus is real, but if want to be a Christian you must be willing to admit that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour, no huge ego or pride can get you to heaven. Just a plain simple believe in Jesus. Faith my friend, is the only way, The Bible says to look up and know that I am God. Jesus came and died on that cross to wash away our sins. Even jewish historians documented the veil in the temple was torn into, as a matter of fact its documented that the whole temple was cracked down the middle. When Jesus was resurrected the wages for sin had been paid. Death was swallowed up in victory. Today there are many scientists who believe in Jesus and are saved and born again. They have become believers. You can to, are you willing to admit to Jesus that you are a sinner? Will you admit that Jesus arose from the grave just like the Bible says? If you are you canbe saved right now, just pray this sinners prayer of faith believing in Jesus with all your heart, seek Him and you will find Him, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you made a decision for Christ or have any questions, Please send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Your question barely makes sense. I am an atheist. My current standing is an atheist. I have always been and always will be, an atheist.

You claim to be a scientist, yet you can't spell 'believers' properly.
