I just got into a new relationship. It is about 3 weeks since me and my boyfriend have been together. I am trying to make some drastic changes in my life for the new year and I just feel that having a boyfriend will in a way stress me out even more and drag me down. I am a college student and I have to get my grades up next semester majorly, I have to work on me as a person and I just need to become more successful in everyday life. And I just don't think that falling in love will be a good thing for me right now. Do you all think that it is wrong that I want to break up wtih my boyfriend?

Thanks

I don't think that it is wrong at all! You have to look out for #1 and if he is any kind of person he would never fault you for wanting to make something of yourself first before getting involved in anything serious, i think that you are making a wise decision in the long run

No it is not wrong to want to break up with your boyfriend... Its a great choice...to focus on your school work...well if you love him and he loves you he'll definitely understand and will even wait on you...if not, well he aint serious so you just do what you have to do...plus education is far more important and boys will always be there. And you have ALOT of time to look at boys when youre done with school... Ok? So you made the right choice...good luck... :]

No it is not wrong at all!!! In 20 years what will be more important to you??? Knowing that you graduated college with an amazing degree?? Or that you continued to go out with this boy even though you really knew in your heart that you shouldn't....and then just to have you guys break up?? Break up with him....do what you really want and go with your heart!

Not at all ... in fact I recommend you do it now before there is anything attachments or feelings involved.

You jumped into some fairly quickly and I think you are on the right track .. gotta get yourself sorted first!

I think that is very brave.
I admire that u relize u dont need a boyfriend right now.
Thats awsome how u realize that!
He probably will understand if he doesnt he isnt a true boyfriend.

hope u bring up ur grades!

I think you're afraid so you latched on to the first BS answer that had an air of plausibility to it. Still, I wish you well with this. Happy New Year.

then you shouldn't of gotten into the new relationship.
you should hurry and tell him that you want a break or something.
because if you don't, you'll just hurt the guy
