I'm one "religious" type that don't ask questions directed at atheist. I especially don't ask questions why atheists just "won't believe in my wonderful and loving gods and goddesses" - that's pointless.
I think the majority of questions directed at atheists come from Christians and that's because Christians just can't imagine anyone not believing in their deity and religion, especially someone not believing in ANY deity. It confuses people and some are insecure, others want to "save" the atheists.
Pagans, Wiccans and Heathens don't get a lot of questions directed to them from Christians and Muslims, usually the questions are from those seeking paganism or other pagans. Christians do jump into those questions though.

They are here because we have a built-in desire to know and seek God... and many of them may not even have that on the surface, they just want to defend their position - some are thought out, some are figuring it out, some have no clue and are just opposed to God.
I know they are lacking faith, some are self-indulgent, some can't allow the thought of a higher being to be manifested, some just like to indulge themselves with less rules.
Six billion people - only one truth. You can run, God allows choice, but his truth governs all things and ultimately all will come face-to-face with it.
I am not enamored by their thinking or desire it....this has been around for thousands of years, perhaps those seeking God can learn a little more of him here.

They're drawn to our inherent sexual magnetism, but then flee because they think they're being sinful.

I don't.
I never have.
I've defended atheists' right to be here.
Generalizing is not good.
LOL, I am calm, just irritated at being accused of things. Happy hour to you as well.
