The cells shrink in size rather than decrease in number when a person looses weight. The number of fat cells a person has will remain consistent throughout their life.

Do an aerobic excercise. Run or jog or walk or dance or swim or do whatever, but make sure it is for 15+ minutes becasue after that you are usually past using your carbs for energy and start burning fat. That should help, but usually you cant really lose weight on just your stomach but since that is where most of the fat seems to be it will probably reduce mostly the stomach, but other places with be reduced along with it. Sorry, but you can't really just focus on getting rid of fat in just one part of the body. Hope that helps!

No, you are born with a certain number of adipose cells or fat cells. When you gain weight, the mass of these cells simply increases, and the cells can become large. You don't gain or lose adipose tissue. That is, if you do not get the surgical procedure of liposuction where they "suck away" some of the adipose cells.

The actual number of cells remains the same, but the cell itself decreases in size. After puberty, the number of fat cells in the body remains constant and will only change after drastic increase in weight or after liposuction.

No. Unless you get liposuction the amount of fat cells remain the same. As you lose weight the fat cells get smaller.

In the mood for the hot meal? Make a massive pot of veggie bean soup, divide into two-cup containers, and store from the freezer. Before bed, place a container inside the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door each day.
