Don't break out the windex and paper towels.

Read your TV manual. It will most likely call out a microfiber cloth and water or some gentle cleaning solution.

The only thing that touches ANY screen is Monster Screen Cleaner.....

It's MADE for plastic screens and the kit comes with a Microfiber cloth.

Lasts for years, and is certainly SAFER and cheaper to buy it for $20.00

Alcohol scares me anymore with the special coatings on the NEWER TV screens....

I also use Alcohol (as it's non-residual) along with a lint free soft cloth (the type you clean eye glasses with), and I always clean them with the power off.
You never want to use anything with Ammonia (such as Windex) in it, that is for sure!
