Perhaps in a rare moment of candor, Pastor Scott was communicating that she doesn't need them...just their money.

If there is a God, you have to wonder why he allows these people to continue to mislead, lie, and rob innocent people.

i HAVE SEEN HER YEACH,, yes i get home from work sometimes late and i have seen her teach and interpet specifically on the noard in english greek or latin, aramaic! she is quite knowledgable .
AND YES THE BIBLE DOES TELL A WOMAN SHOULD not be the leader of a church too.. I KNOW from a BIBLICAL STANDING th reasons for this but still in todays society does it still not reliabl, but umm how u say viable?? .. . well anyway i let GODanswer that but still melissa does do things that be wrong too. why do u rock music up for ? why also odoes she rock up hymms that have ben sacred ?
she may be getting to big spiritually speaking for her britches,, . YOU KNOW knowledge alone is of little value when wisdom is ignored.! YOU are not safe when u practise methods other worldly musicians do , the bible in psalms ------Psalm 1 (Amplified Bible ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[a]BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.
2But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.(A)

3And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].(B)

4Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away.

5Therefore the wicked [those disobedient and living without God] shall not stand [justified] in the judgment, nor [b]sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God].

6For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God's will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nought).

Footnotes:

Psalm 1:1 This has been called "The Preface Psalm" because in some respects it may be considered "the text upon which the whole of the Psalms make up a divine sermon." It opens with a benediction, "Blessed," as does our Lord's Sermon on the Mount (Mall our att. 5:3).
i like to search it out .. i like to see what others versions of the bible say things .. it makes it livelier and more open . look i compareit to with the original so as to not be found to be false .. .. i like to line passages up so that side by side u can see clearly just what it is they are refering to ., bro mj ; that is how i read ,,

Gene Scott used to tell people how much money they had to donate to him in order to avoid hell.

Who cares? Televangelists are liars anyway and don't preach the whole counsel of God.
