They are expensive as are the Lithium batteries, but I have never seen a longer lasting brighter flashlight in my lifetime. I used to be a big fan of Halogen flashlights like the Mag-Lite, but since these new LED lights have hit the market, I've moved up, and will never look back. Their "Tactical" lights are extremely popular with my Police Customers as well as Hunters..The batteries last 8-10 times longer than Alkaline batteries and the LED beam is actually much brighter. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.....

beam quality is awesome! battery life is longer, but bear in mind, when you do have to change batteries.. they are more expensive.
I think they sell rechargable lithium ion batteries now... so if you are going to be using these new, expensive batteries alot, get a recharger and the rechargable batteries for like $20 and save yourself money in the long run.
I got a new Maglite LED for christmas... its WAY brighter than my old maglight ... Im a fan of LED lights

I don't see anything wrong with them as for a start they have LED which will last a whole lot longer than a standard bulb and will very often be brighter.
