Only when my partner was working - I was paying more in child care costs than she was earning - so the net result was I was paying out £40 for her to work.
The sad fact is now I am divorced and recently unemployed, I now have more coming in in benefits than when I was working 40 hours a week. -
Where's the incentive to work?

Yes, that is why most of us are in debt. people and companies go bankrupt. It is not easy to keep your head above water these days, but good planning and management of your funds always helps. that goes for people as much as business
