eat lots of vegetables a free food in the diet scale and mostly fish and chicken eat several small meals a day 6 to 8 and lay off all the sweets, pasta, breads, eat yogurt for breakfast I find Danon low carb works best. Next start exercising at least 15 minutes a day then increase it slowly over a period of weeks once you get your self into a regular habit of exercising an hour a day by that time you should have lost all your weight and more and be healthier. At that time you can pretty much eat reasonably anything you want and not worry about gaining any weight you just have to remember what ever calories you don't need you need to burn off.

Well the first tip, is avoid asking how to diet from other out of shape people. Because, obviously their method hasnt worked. (I am 5'4" and 110)
Also, you dont need to join a gym! Just go on a walk, play with your dog! During a commerical break while watching television, do a few situps! Run up and down the stairs. You dont need to throw big bucks to be in shape!
This is kindof silly, but when you eat food, put your food on a smaller plate. It makes you look like you have more! It really does help when I am feeling extra hungry.
Drink a lot more water, and less pop. Even 'Diet Pepsi' still isnt healthy. You can find little to-go juice packets if water doesnt sound good at the time.
I dont know how much I can stress this! NO FAST FOOD! When you are at McDonalds, and say you get A Burger, Large Fries, and A Diet Pepsi. And if you do, just try a burger with no mayonaise. Small fries (or maybe a yogurt parfait) and a small diet pepsi.
If you are interested, reply to me. I dont want to ramble on and on.

During the summer months, my two most basic Weight Watchers goals are to drink lots of water and to be as physically active as I can every day. The physical activity really helps burn the calories I consume, and drinking two or three glasses of water at mealtime really ease the digestion and help me to feel satisfied but not too full. Something that has really helped me managed my weight and reduced food intake is that I take time for my meals--really enjoy the food I've prepared (or at the restaurant). I'm also not much of a dessert person; normally I've had enough time to enjoy and fill up on the main course that I just have no desire for a treat afterward--at most fresh fruit slices to cleanse the pallette and/or a small piece of dark chocolate. The times in which I do like dessert are once a week when I go to a restaurant and savor a major fancy confection for 20-30 minutes following an appetizer (but not a meal/entree). There's tons more I could talk about, but for the sake of time, I will conclude with something I think is paramount to losing weight--eat your fresh fruits and veggies. When my diet is filled with fresh produce, lean proteins, lowfat dairy and whole grains, I've interestingly found that I'm not hungry between meals and therefore eat less overall (since July 2004 I've lost about 75 pounds, and it feels so good). So my basic pointers are, drink lots of water, incorporate physical activity into your daily routine, and eat a well-balanced diet centered around fresh fruits and vegetables. You'll be feeling great and ready to take on the world!

I stopped drinking anything with sugar in it. You'd be surprised how many calories we get in drinks. I also started doing 30 min of cardio everyday, but I really started to lose the weight after I found this website. I learned the right way to EAT and how to keep the weight off. I lost 5 pounds the first week and I wasn't hungry at all. Good Luck!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

given the reason you're asking this question you're in no way athletic because at you're age i weighed more than you and was the same height, but anyways what i would say is this...take some time after school and run for about 15-20 min, don't do anything crazy either you don't wanna kill yourself, but anyways, do that twice a week, so in the very least you'll stay somewhat "in-shape" so you won't worry about those extra pounds, and it's not like you'll be doing some type of extended workout either....food for thought....

hmm since the the top contributor answers mut doesnt seem much ok easy but long time just eat less junk food such as burgers, fries, chips etc.... and eat more veggies and excerise anywhere instead of sitting walk around or if u have stairs go up the stairs and come down and maybe make a food challenge if u dont like veggie (eating more veggie makes u like it.) and since u r at a good age u can now start using weights.....but if they r closed then run to the door and to end of the house
