What is meant by cofigure backup? It says "last backup not yet performed". Step by step what do I do is it important?

A new service from MS that helps protect your PC with antivirus, firewall, and restore capabilities. It gets to be rather a lot, doesn't it? Install and run the antivirus. Run the firewall. Back up, defragment, and clean up your hard drive. Oh, and don't forget to make sure your anti-virus utility is constantly updated with the latest definition files.
Configure backup with your personal datas, fotos e.g. all you want to be safe.
