Sony and Mitsubishi TV sets are among the TOP TV sets you can buy....
Samsung Toshiba and Hitachi are good but NOT as well designed as Sony and Mits is....
Panasonic makes a real reliable Plasma....
But other than those, I can't recommend any other brands....

I also recommend the Samsung LCDs. Truly spectactular pictures on their 40" - 52" 71 series.
