There is no LEGAL restriction that would prevent you from Ordering an SKS rear sight assembly from Numrich Gun Parts Corporation here in the U.S.(As you were previously advised) The SKS is a legal rifle to own in Canada as long as the magazine has been permanently blocked to limit the magazine capacity to 5 rounds. The only drawback is Canada's shipping costs are outrageous....If you can't find one locally I know for a fact that Numrich ships to Canada
(Complete Rear Sight Assembly)...$28.10+shipping

If the bass pro doesn't work, then head over to Elwood Epps in Orillia, I am about 97% sure they will have it/get it for a customer, they are great that way. They will also install it for about $50 with no drilling or tapping, or $75 if there is some drilling and tapping to do. Also, I was completely unaware that you could legally own an SKS up here, I learned my new something for the day.

You might try calling a local place, since it's unlawful to ship many gun related items outside the United States without a considerable amount of paperwork, I believe.
