21 nautical miles per hour. A nautical mile varies considerably with lattitude, but a guestimate often used is 6,600 ft for a naut. mile. It is not necessarily correct. see Mercators' Projection

21 knots is around 24 mph All you do for conversion is take the knots and multiply by 1.15. 1 knot = 1.15 mph. 21X1.15=24.15 Have a nice cruise!

One knot is one nautical mile per hour.

One nautical mile is 1.852 km exact. So the straight forward answer is 1.852 x 21 = 38.892 kilometers per hour.

It has a defined value, so it doesnt change with lattitude or head winds. 21 knots will always be a speed of 38.892 kilometers per hour.

Just a little over 24 mph.

A nautical mile is 6080 feet and a normal (statute) mile is 5280 feet. or, 1 nautical mile is equal to 1.15 statute miles. 21 x 1.15 = 24.15

And Freidach: A nautical mile does not vary in length depending on latitude. It is defines as 1 arcsecond of longitude AT THE EQUATOR. Thats what defines the nautical mile. Therefore, it is always the same distance. 6080 feet.
