Yes, as long as it is subdued and there is nothing flashy about it. Pearls, for example, are acceptable because they are associated with tears ('tears of the sea'). In former times, the bereaved family used actually to produce mourning brooches for people attending the funeral, with locks of hair of the deceased, as a memento. http://artofmourning.com/brooches.html

hi, im a funeral director. In my experience it is wisest to wear conservative jewelry, however, i also encourage people to honor the relationship you had with the departed. If the person is your best friend and you guys dressed similair , honor her by being you. If its your best friends mom, and she gave you a gawdy necklace for christmas that you adore, wear it. I remember when one of my best friends moms passed away. I wore some 2 tone shoes that she saw on me once because i remembered how much she loved them.

I've seen lots of stuff at a funeral.

Yes. It is acceptable to wear tasteful and conservative jewellery to a funeral, but nothing flashy. You don't want your jewellery to draw any particular attention to you.

I would think so, as long as it's tasteful. You don't want anything that's "loud" but simple jewelry should be fine.
