No, if you're American it makes sense, because it keeps other Americans employed, and we should care about that. Although some things, like electronics, have always been made in Asia, mainly Japan, so buying them would be unavoidable. So I'd say buy American products only when all other things are equal.

No. I wish American products were more readily available. It is very difficult to find American made products anywhere. Remember about 10 years ago stuff was crap unless there was a Made In USA label or stamp on it. We have no one to blame but the corporate slime that thinks it's a good idea to get rid of our jobs so they can make more money.

Nothing at all wrong, less enviromental impact because shorter distance to ship, keeps local friends and neighbors employed.
