Don't use Northwest Airlines!!! They cannot help you in person at any of the airport kiosks. They ask you to call a phone number where you just get the run around. If you do use this company make sure you don't make any mistakes, have any emergencies and that you have your lucky rabbit's foot with you at all times; you won't get any help from them. Pay a little more and get some customer service. This company was horrible to work with.

I’m not sure if you are old enough to remember the long haul bus companies here in America like Grey Hound and others, but most airlines have become the bus companies in the air.

Since about 1980 airlines have dropped in flight services to all most nothing. Its kind of like the old bus companies not if you want lunch bring it with you. So it really doesn’t matter what airline you fly on the service is about the same.

However some airline personnel are a lot friendly than others kind of a company policy. Take for example Southwest most of the personnel enjoy their job and are happy to have a job and it shows.

Another example is United personnel seems to me they all hate their job and try and stick it to the people who fly with them to get rider not to fly. The down side is United flies to where I need to go a lot.

American is kind of like Southwest at least if you complain about something a real person will take it serious and respond to you.

But if I was to fly into Vegas South West is the airline I would want to be on. At least you know up front what to expect and many of the flight personnel make the flight enjoyable. Remember on South West it’s A, B, or C if you book early you may get a A seat or when you check in request a emergency row seat you get more leg room. Some airlines charge extra for the emergency row seats because of this. Also the seat in the emergency row do not retract so that is a down, but extra room more than makes up for it.

The comfort level will be about the same on all four. They all have about the same amount of legroom and they all have pretty lousy service. Take the one with the lowest fare and the most direct flights. You won't notice much of a difference.

Try Southwest Airlines if they're an option. The staff is usually much friendlier and their policies are sometimes more customer-friendly if you have a problem.

If You are trying to get out a Vegas, give Frontier Airlines a try. I love flying on them and they treat you with a great amount of respect. But out of your list I would go with American, never really had a bad experience with them, but Frontier is a pretty impressive airline. Plus Frontier has a brand new fleet average age is 3 yrs compared to that of other airlines where they are 15+

Any but Northwest !! Lousy airline. I'm not the type to badmouth an airline based on one bad experience, but I have had consistently bad experiences with Northwest. Their customer service policies seem to be less accommodating and more restrictive than other airlines. I usually get satisfactory experiences with Delta.

I think Southwest is the Best in cost (low-fare) , customerservice(very interactive with customers on there flights) and ontime(no big hubs causing delays such as traffic and weather) . but if you are 1st class on the airlines you listed you should get the best service offered by that airline. United has a awsome 1st class !

I flew to ATL and back via Delta. the next time I flew AirTran and I LOVED that service I got from them, they smiled instead of a dull have a safe trip from Delta. Either way those 2 are the best services I recommend for domestic trips. International level, United or Delta.
