Not in my experience. Weight training, low-carb, and a brief jog. A 30 min walk won't burn much fat.
Lift weights, tone up, run for 15-20 min 3-5 times a week. Cut out sugars, breads, starches, and sugary fruit. (Skim Milk or "Fat-Free" Milk has more sugar in it than beer, btw.)
Eat lean meats and green veggies. In six months you'll look like a model.

It might, but you would definitely have to do the walking for a LONG time
To work thighs, you can try squats, or lean against a wall [with your back, of course] and act like your sitting in a chair. Try to make your legs a 90 degree angle or as close to 90 degrees as you can and hold for a minute or longer. That really burns those thunder thighs! =]

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

It helped a lot for me! I walked just 2 miles a day, every day, and lost 40+ pounds. They key is how you walk. Walking briskly and having not to stop for traffic lights.

nO. well maybe in a year, if you do it EVERDAY.
i suggest, running / jogging for 30-45 minutes non-stop.
or climb stairs, or run hills that long.
you can also put weights around your ankles, to work your muscles.
or the "invisible" chair.
