Drunk drivers do to many "stupid" things to list. A few of them are speeding, failing to maintain the traffic lane, failing to signal a turn or lane change, running stop signs, and "California Stops". Of course then there are the equipment violations, burned out headlamp, inoperable taillights, and no tag light.
These are just a few of the many reasons you can be stopped. If you wanting this list so you can drive drunk, please don't drive. Sooner or later you will be caught.

failure to maintain a lane, headlights off, driving on the wrong side of the highway, drinking a beer, killing someone. Those are things you look for.
Keep driving drunk. You will get caught. You will spend thousands and have a record. You will be cuffed like a common criminal, You will pay and pay and pay. (as opposed to a 5 or 10 buck cab ride)
If you kill or injure someone, you will face felony charges. In NYS, you now get 25 years for killing someone while drunk.
Anyone who gets ONE DWI, much less multiple, has a SERIOUS drinking problem. Anyone who is looking for ways to drive drunk also has a drinking problem. The simple fact is, you can't hide the fact you are drunk. Thats why it is illegal. Numerous shows and tests have shown that your driving is off with only a few drinks.
You will get caught, I guarantee it. Maybe not this time, but one night.
I'd start a savings account. Lawyers are expensive, so are the fines, revocation costs, car siezures, insurance rates etc etc.
Hopefully you don't murder someone I know.

Most DUI's are located when they are caught speeding, run a stop sign or red light, or weaving down the road. Its the little things that get attention of the officers.
Seems to me that these people with multiple DUI's are lucky. They haven't killed anyone yet and hopefully, an officer will be lucky enough to pull them off the street before they do.
I worked as a reserve deputy while going to college and saw my fair share of drunks and the results of their driving. Now I see only the results, because most drunks don't get hurt, they just kill and maim other innocent people when they crash.

If you drink and drive, you will probably do something stupid and that will alert the police that you are under some kind of influence. You can't be responsible when driving if you have been drinking. You WILL do something stupid. The worst of which will be getting yourself or someone else killed.

Here's a suggestion. Don't drink and drive. Then, you won't get stopped...
What we watch for are things that you won't even realize you're doing...because of your intoxication.
Don't take a chance... because you WILL get caught.

I have arrested drunk drivers on stops for every traffic violation you can think of, from weaving and speeding to expired license plates.
Eventually, you WILL get caught, and go to jail.
