I'm pretty sure most have. It was seen as a means of giving back to the Gods what they gave to us, a gesture of thanks.

Wicca. It bases its taechings etc. on the old ways of paganism. Which did entail animal and human sacrifice. I fear wicca would like to cut is ties to that, but i cannot.
However, it has moved into the 21st century from a time previous and now finds as it did then no need for animal or human sacrifice.....apart from the armies that are sent into war, that in itself is sacrifice.

I am personally not aware of an animal sacrifice for any of the recently created religions:
Friends
Quakers
Shakers
Mormons
Scientology
Spaghetti Monster
Moonie
Heavens Gate
Raelism
Unarius
etc., etc.
- Maybe that's what wrong with them. After all, god does love the smell of burnt sacrifices 1 Sam 15:22

Wicca.
While we take as much as we can from older religions, Wicca is really only about 50 years old and animal and human sacrifice is not part of it.

previous and modern quite some drugs are used to acquire "Spirit journeys" and "imaginitive and prescient quests" in many faiths and cultures around the realm theory is a useful element. - merely because of the fact one faith is diverse, is would not make yet another incorrect. I quite have an open techniques to this - Cultures that use drugs in imaginitive and prescient quests, do no longer do it on my own. there is often numerous human beings gazing over them, looking after them till the wake. drugs if used, must be carried out with care. a minimum of one Sober, "different motive force" must be modern, to be sure your spirit journey reaches a secure holiday spot. I quite have not used drugs in the process any spirit journey

I am not aware of a "Christian" sacrifice, though some of them burned a lot of martyrs.
