Everyone goes to Heaven every time a person dies. In case you are concerned about the issue of Hell, thenk of Hell as going to Heaven the hard way, which is soemthing I would not want to happen to anyone. Seriously, your question goe beyond the "religous liberal" into the question regarding your own future. Since you are willing to go to Heaven ahead of everyone else, I suggest you convert to High Wicca (the New Age) and become a Unitarian so a to fight for the rights of others so as to determine if your journey to Heaven is worth the wait, for after all, I am waiting to be in Heaven even as we speak. At this time I also have a confession of my own. I am a Unitarian myself of the Universalist Order and I too have askd the same question myself. My pastor said to accept the Salvation of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ, the Only Begotton Son of God. I believe that everyone on Earth goes t Heaven, even if many say otherwise. I know it soulnds naive, but consider the fact that 9 out of 10 Christians do not always believe in Heaven when encountering hard times. I believe that you will go to Heaven when you accept the Salvation, even if the Bible says the wages of sin is Death and Hell -- into which the paradox is manifest: it does! May God be there for you in your journey of the Heavens above.

If you are meaning people who believe in freedom of religion and they don't murder people and start wars and send thousands of men to their death to fight over oil?
they are not people who promote big business interests to the hurt of the enviroment. Where Revelation says he is bringing to ruin those ruining the earth. Those people won't be in heaven. This planet was a gift we should take care of it as such.
Or like people who promote violence by lying about the situation, causing fear and hate for others.
God hates violence it says in the bible that he destroyed a world with a flood because the earth was full of violence.
So none of those people will be in heaven.

Considering that Jesus radically changed how we view the Mosaic law...I think he qualifies as the ultimate Christian liberal.
So, yes, I do believe that a liberal who has a relationship with Jesus Christ and is saved can go to heaven.

Being Liberal has nothing to do with Heaven.
I'm very Liberal and I plan on being there again.
That is a promise that will be kept as far as I know it to be.
