If it's a serious question I answer it...
If it's a troll question, I make fun of it...
If it's a question that would require me to educate the asker starting from how to tie their shoelaces...I won't bother. You know?
"So, why don't you believe, even tho god makes the world visible by painting pictures on your eyeballs"... I woudn't know where to begin answering....
Also I tend to answer the "atheism is a religion" question... I've done 19 of those :) One more and I get a set of steak knives...

I am answering this one because it comes from YOU. The R&S sub-category to me represents the most opinionated "stuff" I have ever seen or heard. If it weren't for you and maybe 1or 2 other contacts I would never come here.
I really have a difficult time reviewing the "R&S'ers" who also seem to think that they have political "insight' when all they have at the end of the day are "opinions". Kind of like when sports stars and movie stars think they have the ability to sway "my view" when all "they" do is insult me and how I should think. Same category for me - LOL - Y!A should make a category for "Political Opinions" with sub-sub categories for religious perspectives and those of people of fame.
To your basic question? Yes there are answers I do not provide based on frequency of similar questions posed.

Yes, there are some. But then if you think about it, there are also new people coming on here everyday, and they may not have asked or seen many of the questions/answers. So it's good to answer, if you can.

There are also types of users I refuse to answer in depth questions because they never choose a best answer and after wasting 10 minutes on research I hate that they can't be bothered to pick a best answer.

not so much the frequency, but the level of boredom they induce...

Yes, pretty much. Unless I'm "in the right mood"... or sometimes "in the wrong mood" and have to tell them to look at the answers already given countless times.
