Right, go see a doctor and he will give you these cute little pain pills that will take the pain away but not the symptom. Good call for those of you against chiropractic.

This could be a sign your period is coming soon or something completely different. Have you done any kind of exercise u haven't done b4 ? Some foods can cause kidneys to hurt and that makes ur lower back ache. Kidneys clean our blood out so are you on any medication that u weren't on before the pain ? I have back pain but then I've had SURGERY so I know why but ur in the dark here. If this pain continues for say another week go to your doctor and he/she will run some blood tests etc to make sure all is normal. Ask for a full physical as they don't seem to do them anymore unless u ask, not like years ago when ur doctor really listened and always took ur temp, blood pressure and check ur chest and breathing with their stethoscope, now u must ask for any of these unless you have a great old fashioned family doctor. Good luck and I'm sure things should be fine. Take care.

You may have bruised your kidneys if the pain is in your lower back.....try a heating pad or a thermapatch (heat) for lower back pain if this accident occurred more than 24 hrs ago (Cold compress is used in the first 24 hrs). If it doesn't get better in a couple of days then consult a dr.

alright this is just from personal experience. from falling out of trees, not landing tricks right on my bike, and four wheeler, getting hit by a car and so on and so on. WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR BACK ITS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO GO AND GET IT CHECKED OUT. never let it go, something could be wrong with it and the pain can go away and feel better but the problem is still there, getting worst over time. not saying there is something wrong (i'm not a doc.) but if it hurts that bad you might want to see a doc.

My dad's had a back pain that sounds similar to yours for several years and the doctors say it wont go away. Some things that could help are sleeping on your back, sleeping with a pillow between your legs, bending from the knees when you pick something up-not from the back and possibly acupuncture. I'd recommend getting it checked at a physio.

Sounds like you might have bruised your muscles . Try a cold pack for a few days. but what I think I would really do is go to a chiropractor.my husband had a bad lower back almost down in bed could hardly move. went to chiropractor for several days in a row. he was up and around in no time.

I would see a doctor to be safe. It might just be bruised, but if you broke something you should find out--your back is very important.
